Change the Handedness of a Reference by SenshiStock Change the Handedness of a Reference by SenshiStock
What kind of tutorial is this? A life tutorial?

Fun fact: if you horizontally flip an image, it will change the handedness of the model! It's so simple, but I know many people who might not think to try it! ^_^

Huzzah! Now all those right handed models can be used for your left handed characters! :la:

Works for other activities like shooting, eating, swords, etc.

Also on tumblr.

There is a problem... when I need the character to look left handed but looking at the same direction that the right handed pciture was looking at xD Also... for some reason when I flip and image it just doesn't look as good... sometimes it's easier to draw a character looking to the left side but then if I need it looking to the right and I just flip the image... I dunno why but it just doesn't look right... like something changed even though it's the same image xD

Although this is without a doubt helpful, I would still recommend finding "real" left-handed reference, at least starting out, because very often they hold paper and pen differently.

Every person holds their pen in a different way.
