In these types of maneuvers, you really don't want the Garnet Orb too close to the face or hands. The energy release from Dead Scream is very powerful and an inexperienced sailor soldier could be gravely injured. :)

one would have to question which end of the staff is the business end, if you know what i am saying =) i would still recommend tilting the hips at the very least. it would work better as a reference too, giving a better feel for the follow through motion.

Too late to change it now, but I'm sure artists can make adjustments as needed in their work if they feel it's appropriate. :)

i am sure your next ones will show nothing but improvement =) it's all about getting better right? your work is useful for many people that have no access to live models, and it is pretty high quality compared to some others i have seen.

i know you get a whole lot of 'hate' because people say what you are doing is not 'art' and while i might not be a 'fan' of what you do, i see the need for it. so it might be the desire to rub your photos in the 'haters' faces and make them the best they can be! or because i see you have the dedication to make them awesomer (heh not a word) than they already are. *thumbs up*

one of the attacks sailor pluto uses, although that pose itself is not in the 'attack' she does use the staff to fight however but not in the same way you would use a staff. i hope i am making sense =)

You do.

Still isn't the right pose for the staff hold, and this is meant to be general staff use stock, correct?

The stock is meant to be used as is, so if it's not suitable or accurate for one purpose, it still very well may be useful for some other creative context.

Not much of my stock is created with technical accuracy in mind. Rather, it's more about trying to create interesting lines and movement with the body to inspire creative work. I'm sure artists that are seeking technical accuracy could find those resources if they require them. :)

i know she has a lot of SailorMoon stock photos so i am not sure if it's generic one or not.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I gotta find a use for this stock, if nothing else than to encourage a repeat of it :) You guys rock, and I love your stock across the board. Got a couple I'm using for reference in some current work. :)

Yeah my Senshi OC I'm making has a Staff. And the lower part of her staff is a sword.
so this pose is epic for that type of weapon.

Such an awesome pose to work with.  The little details of how you've posed your hands and feet make this particularly interesting.

:wow: Great, finally getting some new staff action poses! Still not feeling the grey shorts however, just kinda clashes with what I'm used to (those heavy shadows as well; too much :ninja:) , not to mention the line down the white body-suite was really beneficial IMHO :-)

haha yeah there were a lot of photos in the body suit so you will see it again! But I'm mainly sticking with the shorts now since they are more comfortable. At least with the two piece you have the belly button for reference of the center line :D
