New Update
The following article was recently published about Glory/Sara's progress. Many thanks to her mom for posting the link for us on the blog!

Sara's mom has recently taken down the blog because of legal concerns. She is trying to work on a way to continue to give updates on Sara's status without impacting her legal case. Hopefully we will hear more soon

I do not know the final cost of the hardware and software she needs, but I remember at some point hearing it would be over $2000. I will try to find out more from her mom as soon as I can.

This is going to be a stock account run by *sakky-attack/~asteraascended (same girl!) with contributions from some of her friends. The goal of this stock account is to provide reference images for creators of original characters, otaku senshi, within the metaseries Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon and pose references for canon Sailor Moon fanart. Certainly, the stock is going to expand in a more general direction, but I do plan on keeping the 'Sailor' theme.

These are not going to be high quality photographs. I am a terrible photographer and I am taking these pictures in my living room with the best lighting I can afford. These images are mainly for my own reference for poses, but I am sharing them with others in case they are of use to anyone else. Please do not comment on the quality (or lack of quality) of these stock images. Suggestions are welcome, but please don't be seriously critical of them. I am putting sincere effort into making them the best they can be, but I can't promise anything. These images were made mainly for pose reference which they are perfectly suitable for. If you are a talented enough photo manipulator to use them in your medium then I welcome you to.

You will sometimes see: random shadows, small sections of limbs cut off, sections of my furniture protruding into the frame, random animals walking by, terrible lighting, random doorknobs in the background of many images, and probably enough terrible things to make a true photographer cry. I would like to hope that the more recent stock is improving. ^_^;


The Scraps for this account will be 'outtakes' from shoots. These images will include all the pictures I didn't think were "presentable" enough for the main gallery (sections cropped off, too much kitty in the way). It will also include some more silly shots. :3 You should still feel free to use these images if you want to, but all the regular rules apply.


Why are you wearing just a bodysuit?
This stock is intended mainly to be reference for base poses for character drawings. It is important to me that as much of the form is made clear as is possible. I chose a white bodysuit hoping it would show contour well, while still giving me some covering up.
Will you do some with costumes?
No. There are tons of AMAZING stock artists on DA that work with stunning costumes. As per my Mission Statement and the above question, my goals with this account are not along those lines.
Will you put your hair down?
Like clothing, hair can cover up the contour of the neck and shoulders. I don't even LIKE how I look with my hair like that >,< but it's the best way to make sure that most of the figure is visible.
Why are you wearing nylons in some pics but not in others? Can you not wear nylons? Can you wear nylons?
I wear the nylons because early in my shoots people asked for more definition of the legs. Now people are asking for shots without them, but I can't please everyone. :3 I don't plan on changing in and out of them based on the pose either, and I think they do help define the pose well. Since the main purpose of this stock is for pose reference, I'm mostly concerned with the form being visible. So, unless the focus of the pose is the feet/toes, I will likely be wearing nylons. I figure if people want to use it for photo manipulation pics they will just have to learn to photo manipulate the nylons off.
Do you take pose requests?
Oh please leave messages with pose ideas! I really run into blocks sometimes. If you've got some general ideas, specific poses, etc. just let me know and I will try my best! Just keep in mind that I do about 150 images each shoot and then post them a few at a time over the course of a few weeks. This means that if you have a pose request or suggestion, it might be a few months before you actually see it. ^_^;
