Screencap it and note me and you win a one month sub! :dance: First one to note me wins, even if multiple people catch it.

Happy May everyone! For those of you in the Northern Hemisphere, I hope the warmer weather is bringing as many good feelings to you as it is to me. :D

First, some business.
I take suggestions, not requests. Please bear this in mind when leaving me a message about a pose or poses you would like to see. I appreciate donations, but like most stock artists I mainly do this for free and for fun. I spend my own money on props and lighting, and I use my own free time taking photos and maintaining the account. Please, please do not disrespect me or my models by frequently asking about your 'request.' There is no guarantee that any pose suggested will be done and bothering me about it repeatedly makes me less inclined to want to help you out. ^_^;

Let's Have a Contest!
Now that I've addressed that, let's talk about a contest! As many of you know, I am a huge Sailormoon fan. I would love to hold a contest in which artists are encouraged to make Sailormoon fanart because the more Sailormoon fanart I see, the happier I am! Right now I am looking for the following:

:bulletpink: What type of contest? It will be a 'draw a canon character using my stock' contest, but should I limit it to Sailor Senshi? Should there be a specific theme (like attacks, or romanace?!)
:bulletpink: What medium? I know from previous contests I've seen and held that it can be hard to judge digital art against traditional art. I'm inclined to go for an all traditional contest because that's my choice medium, and I like it. There's also the option of having categories, but I don't want to make it too complicated.
:bulletpink: How are the winners chosen? Should I select the winners? Should they be voted on? Should I have a panel of judges?
:bulletpink: What are the prizes? Are any of you willing to donate prizes (exclusive stock or resources, subscriptions, journal features, custom CSS journals, art)? What prizes would motivate you to enter?

This will be a contest about skill. It will be about making pretty Sailormoon art. I do want to encourage non-anime artists and non-Sailormoon fans to participate! Please give me all your brilliant ideas! :dance:

Yay Art!
Recent work made with my stock (fantastic! keep up the good work!)

Hmm....I'm not sure what type of contest it should be, but I definitely hope it will be on traditional art (or at least have a traditional category). I think having a panel of judges would be cool, and I would definitely be up for donating a Sailor Moon request as a prize. It's not much, since I take requests anyway, but it would be fun!

I'd definitely participate if there is a digital category. If there isn't, I might still participate, though... As far as theme, I think you should come up with a set number of prompts or possible themes. Maybe five words that can be used as a theme, or something like that. I'd also opt for a panel of judges, as that avoids the possibility of people nudging friends to skew a vote, and you don't end up with any sore losers being able to harass you personally accusing you of favoritism or partiality in some way. And features always make great prizes. Gotta stroke that ego.

I'd so try to participate. :heart:
Hmm, as far as the rules go, I think yes, it should be limited to the original Senshis, with an specific theme - Romance, Solo images, etc - and it should be traditional art, specially because you make use of that medium and all - I think it makes you easier to judge if you know the stuff and all =)

My prayers to your kitty! I lost five over the period of 3 years... mainly due to old age, but it never gets easy no matter what.

I agree with Sefchik! Some really cool angles would be appreciated. There's not a lot of them on here and I'd really like to practice abnormal angles.
