Pose Reference Stock Resources You Need To KnowThere's lots of awesome models on DA and lots of great places on the web to find pose reference and stock! Here's a little list of some great places to check out for some quality pose reference stock:

is a group I founded that accepts submissions of stock photos that are useful for pose reference. To be considered, the model must be wearing form fitting clothing or nude. There are separate folders for nude stock. Watching this group will result in quality pose reference stock appearing in your inbox!

Miss Galaxy Pagant!hihi so im announcing my first contest! it would mean a lot if you'd join and advertise this to other people. For this contest a few rules no bases are allowed do not trace or copy anyone but referencing is fine, please but your best effort into your own work. tyvm. this contest is themed around a beauty pageant for sailor moon oc's. if you don't have one thats fine, ill have other contests don't worry. You can make a completely new sailor scout for this or use one you already have. if you'd like you can even take a none sailor moon oc and turn her into one for this specifically. each person can enter up to 3 sailors of his or her own design.

I finally hit 1k watchers today!  I said I'd do a giveaway if I ever got to 1000 watchers and so here I am.  Of course every giveaway will have a few rules and here are mine:

The winner will receive one plushie of their choice.
Plushie can be a sitting mare, a standard mare, a standard stallion, or a filly.
If you prefer beanies or parasprites I'm sure we can work something out!

This series is good because the speaker is articulate, and the actions on the screen follow commands. It is difficult to find quality tutorials that are not merely process pieces or showcasing artwork, but this set goes above and beyond -- it actually focuses on the tools of the program and illustrates how they can be applied! 24 HCD 2012I did a comic, but only the first 14 pages were done in the actual day... I didn't write this, but I did the art! Tried to draw something remotely related to romance, i think i'm pretty bad at it but hey... see it for yourself.

Well, you know. Back for a given value of skin, muscle, vertebral column and other things that normally make up a back. I've changed since the last time I was here, and here has changed more than a little, too. It's going to take time for us to get used to each other again. I'd like you to think of this journal as the equivalent of that first surreptitious footsie under the tablecloth between two lovers who haven't seen each other for many years. The plates have been cleared--the figs, the oysters and all the other essential bit players in the stage play of seduction--and we sit facing each other, my toes just resting on yours. Your face is flushed with champagne. My face is flushed with another sensation entirely.
What do we discuss, then, as we sit each contemplating the potential merits of inviting the other back for coffee despite neither of us liking coffee and neither of us having any? We've spent the dinner talking old times:

I've also read information that only 5% of DA users pay for the membership.

Snow White and the HuntsmanI'm back and fully recovered from my sickness. Okay, I meant to do this review a lot sooner than this, but it's on my mind currently. Unfinished business: watching you and suit porn!Hey guys-
So I frequently come to you for help and I SO INFREQUENTLY repay it haha.  BUT!  Today I have two exciting tidbits, both in response to prior "HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME" journals.
First: the Watching You script!  The last one is debunked, but here is a wonderful snazzy new one.    Basically this is a script that tells you when another deviant is watching you.  Very very helpful.
Second: the suit book!  Thank you :iconjonbronx: !!!  It is called "Garment Construction: Jacket and Pants" and it's by John Watkiss.  The book is sadly out of print, but if you, like me, were in it to find the artist, I strongly suggest you take a minute to familiarize yourself with his work.  It's fantastic.

Luncheon Meat and English Usage.A curious plague has broken out at the Lastwear Journal offices: comments and messages by non-existent people. They are odd individuals, these folk without physical being. They often seem to have opinions about the items posted on the Journal, and then loose the thread; they ramble on about other topics and often blather meaninglessly. Almost as if they were the ghosts of ideas once partially formed, but are now drifting free in the Aether that is the interwebs.
The writers are, of course, S.p.@m-bots. We dare not speak their names, for it calls them onto our site. Even using the S-word calls to them. Rather we shall call this kind of post as "luncheon-meat", which is what the original product was, after all.
As an Historian Archivist of the LastWorld, we are familiar with the notion of ideas having a life of their own. If enough people believe something, no matter how little foundation in reality it has, the idea can grow and take form; have impact on the real world. In a curious way,

Looking back at all that old stock has made me nostalgic! (Some of these are so grainy, ; A ; I should retake them!)

Were you just setting up with this batch of photos? I notice that the photos go from that bluish cast to a more natural lighting as time went on. The first photos look like outdoor photos taken with indoor film, but of course these are indoor photos. Never mind how I know what such photos would look like... :paranoid:

I had tried to use this one [link] a while back for a book cover I was commissioned to do, but the pose got rejected. A pose I just winged it on got selected instead. I'll have to see about using some of these so they don't go so stale.
