If you are reading this, you have stumbled upon the verbal contract that you will make with me, The Reaper, upon breeding to my horses. History Of the Nyte HorseThe Nyte Horse was long believed to have become extinct for many years now. It seems that as quickly as the breed started, it ended. Just recently were people proved wrong when a beautiful purple mare showed up out of nowhere and claimed Bobwood Creek as her home.
The beginning of the breed actually started in Germany. As the legend goes, there was a beautiful talented Warmblood named Nyte. He was a nice deep grey that didn't fade out until he was nearly 15 years old. The stallion was deeply loved by his owner and they rode together in many Dressage competitions. As time went on, however, Nyte grew older and his joints were not allowing him to move as elegantly as before. His owner decided to retire the stallion and keep him on the pasture and went and bought a lovely young mate named Star.
A few more years went by, and Nyte was soon forgotten by his owner once he began to win some competitions on Star. Nyte soon lost quite a bit of weight and his once lovely and shiny coat was now dul

RP CharsSo, here we go...for those who are even remotely curious, I have a myriad of characters that I specifically never applied towards anything (i.e. HARPG) because I wanted to Role Play them. I am FINALLY collecting them in one spot to easily access and go "OOOO I wanna RP with < so in so> " XD I will likely update their statuses here too, like if they are taken or currently in an RP with somebody else, etc. For ease of convenience, I will try to categorize them and alphabetize them. It is also will make it easier for me to find them!
Oh, also, if you want these guys to be able to shift to humanoid, I'm perfectly okay with that. However, I would prefer them to either stay in their original form, or be sort of like a lycanthrope where they have the ability to shift :3

Breeding RulesREQUESTING A BREEDING TO ONE OF MY HORSES?
Then please read the rules posted below!
1: BREEDPICS
When you request a breeding to one of my horses, you must make your payment in the form of a BREEDING PICTURE, otherwise known as a breedpic. This picture can be anything from a pencil sketch of the two horses' heads to a fully colored full body masterpiece with a background! I am also fine with photomanipulations, painted models, or other more creative breedpics. DO NOT re-use old linearts, or just draw their hooves or eyes or tails or something. A headshot is the minimum!
2: FOAL DESIGNS
As a general rule, you design your own foal! Want me to design your foal? Please make an extra payment in one of the following two ways:

A full-body, fully colored breedpic with a background
Foal designs tend to take me a long time so if you want your foal quickly, I advise you designing it yourself!

sateenkaarisitruuna - About registration IMPORTANTThere has already been a reminder like this, but I feel it is needed again.
This is a simple check-up list you need to do correctly in order for your registration to go through fluently.
If any of these are missing or incorrect, you will be asked to correct and resubmit and your registering will be prolonged.
- ID and name in the title (ID first, especially important if the horse has a long name)
Your horse needs to have a name. If you title it something like "name undecided", your horse will be named "name undecided" and it cannot be changed after that
- Foal design needs to be accepted and linked directly AND match the reference (please have the foal design clearly linked somewhere visible)
- Gender, genotype and color (you cannot alter the geno or given color anyway, it must be written down exactly as it was originally given to you)
- If build is specified, it needs to be modern, medium or classic or something in between. For example gypsy vanner, arab or fjord etc are not suitable

Horsie Emotes and PLZs!Because we do need these to put all over our journals and artist comments.

How to Use PLZs
PlZs are just like avatars, they are new dA accounts that are used simply for the icon space. To use one, hover over it and you'll get the name of the avie. For example when you hover over :iconfoalplz: you get foalplz. So then, you type colon, icon, name-of-avie, colon, which looks like this, :icon*insert name of avie here*:, which turns into :iconfoalplz:. This will work for all avies when you hover over them, and as said above, PLZs are just avies. Just don't ever forget the icon or the colons/::.

Correct Conformation and the HArpgHi guys!
As I just got out of my equine class, I'm feeling particularly smart and snarky today so I thought I would talk to you all about drawing horses with the proper conformation (that's their body build, proportions, and anatomy for those of you who did not know) for their breed or discipline. With humorous threats of violence! 8D
I can't tell you how many times I see someone draw their prized stallion that they put up for stud in their virtual dA stables/HArpg barn, and they simply cannot figure out why no one wants to breed their mares to him. To the artist, their stallion has it all-- great color and markings, temperament, he's an expert at performing in his discipline and he may have even been shown a few times. Frankly, often not knowing anything about proper horse conformation is to blame. Now, I know that many people stylize their horse drawings, so their anatomy and proportions will look different from an actual horse's, and sometimes that can make him look large

Breeding your Nightmares

Breeding your Disturbed Nightmares is the same as it always was.

You must first send a note to the group with the links to the two horses you would like to breed. Once you get the ok, you can go ahead and do your breeding.

REMEMBER: there is NO CROSS BREEDS when you breed Nightmares! You either have ALL nightmare or NONE! You will NEVER get a horse with traits of both. Its either a Disturbed Nightmare or the breed you bred your Disturbed Nightmare too. And if the foal is a regular foal, it will NEVER pass on the Disturbed Nightmare trait, simply because it has NO Disturbed Nightmare genes!!
