idk what that is, but it's not a waltz.

1. Don't lace your fingers together. The woman should be resting her hand in the lead's. It makes it much easier to adjust your grip for things like spins.
2. The arms shouldn't be locked like that. Maybe in some kind of tango, but not a waltz. (I don't know how to tango)
3. The man's right hand should be against the shoulder blade, and not the curve of the back. (You can probably get away with a hand there, as long as the frame of the arms is still sturdy, and keeps the dancers far enough apart from each other. But in a proper ballroom dance, the hand should be higher.)
4. I can't see it, but the woman's left hand should be resting low on the man's shoulder. So low that it's partially on the bicep.
5. And it's difficult to tell at this angle, but the partners need a decent amount of space between their bodies. Not for respect reasons, but because if you're too close, you'll step all over each other. The arms should act as a sort of sturdy frame, to maintain this distance, and so that the lead can easily express their intent when they move. With a sturdy frame, when the lead moves forward, the follow automatically knows to move back, because her whole torso is being led in that direction.

Sorry for being so nitpicky. Something like dynamic fighting poses for comics is fine. I can suspend my disbelief (in most cases.) But a waltz looks a particular way. I felt compelled to throw out some corrections. >___>

Beautiful stock, I wish the arms were bent and not sticking out like that. This looks more like a tango.

You all should do MJ poses. Its really hard to find a verity of them on google. most are repetitive.

...I decided that, even though I failed at "copying" the pose, I still got inspired by it, so I credited you in my newest drawing: [link]
...If I ever write and publish my book, no matter how many years from now, I shall put your name in the "thanks" section, since you can be sure I'll still use your references in the future. :D

Hon, I need to ask... I have seen lots of your poses and some are really great but you are in your undies. I cant draw so I cannot dress you to use them..are these poses for reference only, or in my ignorance am I missing something else?

I'm not sure I totally understand your question, but yes, every image in the gallery was created with the intention of pose reference. :)

Hmm...I didnt want to be rude :) What I was meaning was that I love some of your poses and would have wanted to put you in some manips but you are in your undies. I cannot draw so I couldn't draw clothing on you! I could reference the poses on some of my WoW fanart I suppose, you never know what my muse will insist on next. When shes awake. :rose:

Last night I noticed that there are png dresses and such lol! Dont be surprised if I do give that a try. A high tech version of "paper dolls" might be interesting to try out. :D
